@theguardianhermanus is a definite hidden gem in the Hemel en Aarde Valley, approximately 17km from Hermanus.

With our recent travels, I realised how loosely the word “Luxury” is used. This self catering accommodation has what ones expects from a luxury place. It was good to see that quality bed linen was provided and the attention to detail, that left one not short of anything. We even had a Nespresso machine as well as a French Press.

The 2 bedroom cottage we stayed in was tastefully furnished and equipped with quality appliances and products. The 2 ensuite bedrooms were upstairs and downstairs was an open plan lounge with a fireplace, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, guest toilet and had a very large patio with a built in break and outdoor furniture where one could also entertain guests.

Our only complaint is that it was too short😁.

The views were amazing to wake up to.
