Beef Teriyaki

SA Lockdown – Day16
A full Beef Fillet is way too much for the 2 of us, so I always use half to grill or as steaks and the other half in a stir fry or pasta. Today I decided to do it with Teriyaki and Asparagus that needs to be used.

Ingredients:
400g Beef Fillet
500g green Asparagus
1 red Onion
2 tbsp Canola Oil
150ml Teriyaki Sauce

Method:
1. Cut the Beef in 2cm cubes and pat dry with a paper towel.
2. Slice the Onion.
3. Cut the Asparagus into about 2cm pieces.
4. Heat 1tbsp Oil in a pan and then add a layer of Beef and brown on all sides. Do not over fill the pan as it will reduce the heat. Add more Oil when necessary and repeat until all the meat has been browned.

5. Add all the Meat, Asparagus and Onions to the pan, stir and fry for about 2 minutes.
6. Now add the Teriyaki and stir well.
7. Turn up the heat a little and stir fry for about another 2 minutes.
8. Remove from heat and serve.
