When I saw a post featuring @aroma_byorchard I knew I had to visit it.

The sign from the parking is impressive and upon entering you are filled with a sense of “wow”.
It’s open, spacious and welcoming, a lovely addition to the restaurant scene in Lusaka.

The wine room on the mezzanine level was well cooled and look forward to enjoying a bottle of wine with a cheese or charcuterie board in the not to distant future.

Upstairs has a rooftop bar and restaurant that is open at night.

This is a new establishment with expected teething issues but management needs to be more vigilant and staff need to be trained as they are friendly but not what one would expect from such an establishment.

The Coffee was disappointing and did not live up to their name “Aroma” as I ordered an Americano and requested it to be in a larger cup/mug as I didn’t want a teacup of coffee and received weak filter coffee instead. ☹️

Hope they find their feet soon.

The place was literally empty and our simple meal for 2 took ages.
